A giant is a bar technique used in freerunning. It involves swinging completely around the bar. A basic giant is done with the arms and knees straight. There are many variations, some of them listed below.

Variants[]

  • Baby giant A slightly easier version. The knees are bent and the arms are used to pull in at the top of the rotation.
  • Knee giant A giant performed swinging from the crook of the knee.
  • Baby knee giant Similar to a knee giant, but the hands hold onto the bar.
